Registration is a contract i.e. to the document is authenticated through Govt.There is a registration office for registration of various document of public in every district and sub-district. Every person is required to visit the Registration office for registration purpose of their document within their district and sub-district.

 

Procedure

  • Any document valued Rs 100 or more is compulsory to be registered.
  • There are 65 classes of Registrable documents which are determined by its purposes and required stamp and registration fees for these registrable documents are also different namely copy enclosed.
  • People are required to collect stamp papers either from local treasury or from stamp vandors in order to prepare a document which he/she desire to register either by himself, by deed writer or public advocate.
  • After making the document the public will have to placed the document before registraring officer of the Registration Office. After observing some official procedure the document is registerd.
  • The photos and thumb impression of the client,executer,identifier and witness are captured by biometric device/webcam.Then the required payment as per document concern is made.
  • The entire registration is followed by an application named as “E-panjeeyan”.The document is scaned and uploaded in the process.Now the original document is ready for delivery.
  • A receipt is issued to party concer for delivery.The receipent should produce the receipt before taking the document.The photo of the receipent is captured and saved in the system before handing over the original document.
  • Now,the receipient of the document can take away the original registered document.
